Minutes of Regular Meeting: January 8, 2026

Brought to Order 6:30 P.M. Via Zoom Meeting
Attendance: Councilman Kashmann, Margy Kennedy, Nick Petkovich, Masha Lior, Sam Skipworth
Community Outreach: Sam attended a meeting in November for RNO’s hosted by a non profit contracted by the City. The purpose of this meetings series was to gather and compile information from RNO’s and citizens to help the City update ordinances regarding RNO’s and improve community engagement. Needs identified at this meeting included training (start up kit), mission development, monetary support or fundraising support for fliers and communications.
Councilman Kashmann Report:
Councilman Kashmann’s office is just coming back up to speed after 2025 budgetary struggles. Nick had a question re: how to find a timeline for sidewalk work in our neighborhood. Masha suggested the following link for more information.
A timeline for the DeBoer Park construction has not been made public yet other than vague sometime in March completion date. York Street is closed midway between Vassar and Harvard for work on drainage. The bridge across the gulch has been demolished however grading for the replacement has not been started as of the 8th.
There being no concerns raised at this time, the meeting was adjourned at 7:01 PM
Next UNNA meeting will be February 12, 2026 at 6:30 PM
