Howdy Neighbors! The University Neighbors Committee is excited to announce our returning Alley Cleanup Day on Saturday, May 17, 2025! We’re calling on everyone in the neighborhood to pitch in and spruce up our alleys together.
Here’s the plan:
- Goal: Keep our alleys clean and welcoming all year round, with an extra-special clean-up day on May 17th.
- How it works: We’re looking for 2 volunteer households per alley segment to rally their neighbors. Ideally, these households will help coordinate regular tidying of their alley stretch and lead the charge for the big cleanup day.
- Why it matters: Clean alleys mean a safer, prettier, and more connected neighborhood for all of us!
Want to volunteer? Reach out to Margy at mpkennedy1@aol.com to share which block you’ll be helping to clean—think trash bags, gloves, and maybe some lemonade afterward! More details (times, supplies, etc.) will be shared at our upcoming meetings.
