You may have received this flyer at your house regarding the Alley Clean Up Project sponsored by UNNA and Denver Solid Waste. We are hoping to promote neighborhood appreciation, getting our neighbors engaged and working together as well as ridding our alleys of trash and reduce the influence of pests.
Our University Neighborhood is rightly ranked as one of the safest, most valuable neighborhoods of Denver; and we think we can reach #1 with everyone pitching in.
The city will provide garbage bags and loan us tools such as trash pickers, goggles, gloves, a few rakes or shovels as needed. They will also provide an extra pick up on Monday the 19th so we don’t have to overload our garbage bins.
As an added bonus and incentive, our neighbor Nick Petkovitch has invited participants to meet at his house for an after clean up 6pm Pizza Party and get together. Please RSVP to him at 703-475-5983 or petkovip33@gmail.com
Please email Margy Kennedy at mpkennedy1@aol.com with your name and address so that we can estimate how many supply kits are required, and get information to you regarding how and when to pick up supplies.
